i f*#&ing hate people, this stupid f*#& ran a red light and destroyed my baby. The axel is bent and the entire rear passengers quarter panel is more bent out of shape than janet reno at a snoop dog concert. So i might not catch the meet, maybe i can if i bum a ride with a fellow 2 member. I think there are 2 other mr2 owners down here.

If its snowing, look for the guy driving around in a 4x4 truck in 2 wheel drive pushing snow that seems to be a little nuts. If you found him, wave because it most likely be me :)

Actually, I've pared it down to just 4 cars - the Civic hatch, my ultilitarian, salvage-title Accord wagon, the wife's Integra sedan, and the party-pooper MR2. Sold off a '93 GS-R Teg, an auto Civic hatch, and my '89 CRX in 2005. I did pick up some motorcycles though.
Looking to buy something "somewhat new and different" on Ebay soon . . . stay tuned.
As I've stated before, I'm not big on showing up for MR2 meets w/o an MR2 . . . unless there's a mountain drive involved, and then I might bring the Civic or the Integra.
great, not i have to try paying chech up with hsuns hondas:p

Weather is looking pretty good so far for the 8th. 40+ degrees and sun.
Also, it looks like I will be bringing my girlfriend with me. Not sure if that matters, but I thought it might be important for seating requirements at Red Robin.
Hope everyone has a safe and festive New Years!!!
See ya on the 8th:D

What is the latest on your car?
Awaiting a Nemesis EMS for Damon to perform further testing with to determine if it will provide a solution for whatever ails my car. I am of the opinion that the problem is based in fuel/engine management, not a gross mechanical issue.
Hopefully we will know something more definite by the end of January at the latest.

Wouldn't inanimate and possessed be self exclusive?

Wouldn't inanimate and possessed be self exclusive?
Not sure, that's too deep a question for lunchtime on a Tuesday. But think about the old movie "Poltergeist" - the house was possessed by spirits, but it was still just an inanimate object being manipulated by outside influences. So the house itself wasn't actually alive per se.
My main point is that I choose not to call cars, boats, planes, motorcycles, etc. "she" or "her."
Kinda archaic and old school IMO. No offense intended to you of course.
