MR2 Stolen 9.6.05

Dan Jentsch's MR2 was stolen last night here in Denver from 13th and Speer Blvd. If everyone could please keep and eye out!! Hopefully we can get this one back home like the last!

The 2nd gen is easy to spot. The red paint is highly faded. There are stickers on the rear quarter panal of glass. (PFIspeed, Toyo Tres, eibach springs) Also with dark rims.

If anyone spots it please call Dan @ 303-424-2644
I will post the decteives number when that is relased.

hey being that MR2 community is rather tight i would get a VIN out so if this ass clown trys parting out the motor and tranny you can track him down that way.

Sorry but no news yet, other then DPD is doing absolutly nothing about it and I highly doubt a detective will ever be handed this case. :mad:

Sorry no news to report. Someone thought they might have seen it the other night in Aurora. But its not offical. Dan finally spoke with detectives, and they seem positive that some day they'll find it. But anyway since it has been a week I will be posting the VIN# of the car later today. So please keep an eye out for any MR2 parts on the Colorado Market.

most of the time youll get your car back, but unfortunatly with a few less parts.

i hope everthing works out and you get your car back though and they find the POS's that did that.

UPDATE: Car has been recovered!!!! By a tow truck in longmont. Its been in this guys lot for about a week. Tried to get ahold of DPD because the VIN came up as stolen. But received the run around. So he then rumaged through papers in the car and found Dans number.

So the car is finally in the hands of DPD getting cleared as we speak.

Car is in one piece. She runs, but is not drivable. The thieves ate the clutch. The faceplate to the deck was ripped off, and the wiperblades where ripped off as well. Other then that shes in good shape.

Hell, Dan needed a new clutch maybe this way he can get the insurance to pay for it?
