topeka caravan meeting up in salt lake city

we need a good place to meet up with another caravan in route from nor-cal to denver....... please anyone from the salt lake city area give some first hand info on the best location. preferrably not more than 1 mile from freeway. this large parking area does need to be somewhere towards the south end of salt lake city, will make it easier when we leave. we will only have like 30 min to 1 hour of stop over time for both caravans to get to location and move on....
looks like about 10am meeting time somewhere south of 80 along 215 or 15.

i am from the salt lake city area and are taking responsiblity along with 93smgturbo (big board) on coordinating the caravan with the Utah group. We need more information from you guys. Anyone needed to stop in SLC is welcome to stay with me if they need sleep or a beer. Chances are this caravan will be needing to stop atleast once for the night considering your drive from california. I can hold about 10 people or so if some dont mind sleeping on the floor. As far as meeting up with the rest of the caravans, especially the colorado MOC youll need to talk to phoenixr2 as i dont know the Denver area at all.

I live 2 minutes off I-15 and about 20 minutes north I-80 from salt lake. there is actually a back highway that would make it faster to get to I-80 from my house is anyone needs to stop. Email me info or you can even call me at 801-390-8095

thanx for the offer of the floor space. ill bring it up to the others. my guess is that we will probably stick with our original plan and stay in wendover on wens night cause we will probly have more like 25-30 ppl. maybe breakfast?!?!?!?!? :D

it would be great if you could think of a place that we could meet up with the other guys that will be comin down from the northwest for say breakfast at a location in slc though. you know your area waaaaay better than i, or anyone else for that matter. just kinda think big, and very easy to find, with a few options of breakfast food. aka fast food and sit down all located next to each other.

how about a breakfast buffet? i could reserve a banquet room for us or something. or just find a place with a few options within walking distance.

When i find a place for the 2 caravans to meet i will get directions from wendover to the place and from twin falls idaho (northwest) for people to get too, i will find a place right off the highway for convenience.
