I am doing a content development project for my work and we are completely restructuring the in house knowledgebase and I must say that 100% of the documents were first set up in word and the people that created them used word as their html editor. Now that might be ok if you're not ever messing with the document afterwards, but for me having to copy and paste and restructure stuff and completely redo tables it is a royal pain in my ass. I am saying this because I have been sifting through horrible html code for 2 hours on one document. It is much better than taking a single phone call though. Any business in need of an IT specialist for around $18 an hour.

Notepad has no html coding ability but you can edit html cod ein t, but good call that's what I am using to strip all the BS code out ot the content, cause notepad doesn't do any of that.

I learned to code html manually long ago in notepad. I eventually switched to Microsoft and Adobe's html coding apps. Turns out it paid off to have the manual coding skills, because when I couldn't get exactly what I wanted with the program, I could always fix it manually. That and I could strip out all the tattletales when I had to write web pages "manually" for a CS class.
