Emissions

I have heard a little bit of news saying that emissions for El Paso county might be bull and void as of 2005. Has anyone else heard this? If this were the case I would be gutting the cats when I put the exhaust on.

The guesstimate and it is only that is by December of next year. If your car is due emissions prior to that then let that factor into your decision.

theyve been talking about it forever. its been on the news. news papers, radio stations, all the local car boards, etc. I wont believe it till it happens. not like it will effect me, my cars are always legal:D

Yeah that is exactly what I had heard as well, I am not due for emissions testing until 2006 so I am highly considering removing all cats and such. But Dan does make a point in which I would want to be sure it's happening before removing everything. But I plan on having my downpipe and exhaust soon, would be nice to be completely free flowing when I put the new stuff on.
