Hey ya'll it's been far too long since I've seen anyone from the club. I know it's short notice but I was just wondering if ya'll would have time for something this Thursday. I was thinking maybe another BWW meet. Times, places, and dates are very flexible at this point :D. Basically I'm open to just about anything if Thursday works for nobody.

I should be fine with that unless school comes up with something last minute. Last time we had one of these we met up in the parking lot for about 10-15 minutes then headed inside to Buffalo Wild Wings.

So thats what I found at auto zone but which one do I need? do I need the one with the little rings or just the big gasket?

I would recommend that you get the one with the spark plug tube seals.

Have you tried contacting a Toyota Dealership to see how much the VC gasket would cost from them?

I havent yet. I will check into that next time I get around to going to the dealership. My gut tells me that it would be more expensive though. I might be wrong but Ill check.

I highly suggest you contact Aaron Willis at Lithia Toyota. He's out of state, but he's very helpful and gives special pricing to MR2 enthusiasts. I was able to get some OEM parts cheaper than some of the parts from Autozone.

I'd be good for the 6th. I get off work at 7:30 I believe, and can be somewhere in Springs by 8:00. Im already pretty broke, but doesnt take much gas. Palmer Park is a nice gathering, but thats during the summer when its crowded with NAXJA members :D

I know springs well, just no safe spots(ie rice free, and cops wont bother us).

And for you guys talking about valve cover gaskets, I got mine from kbox engineering. Their seals are great quality, and reasonably priced ($30 for the MKII turbo or NA, including spark plug seals)

I've been very busy being unemployed. It takes up almost all of my days. :)

Doing some maintenance on the car right now, ignition components, cleaned the intake tract and throttle body, put in the valve cover bolts I've had for two years, some paint touch up in the engine compartment, changing from tbolts to constant torque clamps etc. Going to try and get some things done on the suspension as well as changing the oil.
