hahaha so i was coming home, and i passed this house, and was like OMG A Mr2!! soo i rang the doorbell :D

Her name is Heather, she drives a steal mist gray 91 turbo, and she looks pretty young, so she might be in her late 20s? so if you see her, just give her a wave!!!

she lives over on the eastern side of town, and i refered the site to her :)

she also said, that there's an ex-sergent that has a black turbo one over there..*duh duh duuuuun*

*is doing a good job at recruiting*

hopefully she joins up. I know a few of the guys will PM her as soon as she joins though, lol. does her car have a sticker in the back window? ive seen a smg turbo with a girl driving but it appeared to be an older lady, only saw it once.

Is SMG gunna be the next red in our Group? I dont even know if you can call my car SMG. I call it Steel mistScratched up, rock chipped, egged more blue than silver grey. Lyle and Paul have the real SMG cars.

I wanted a SMG car when I looked for mine. The only one I looked at had been repainted, and I didn't really think it looked that good (the paint job that is).

I would much rather have a SMG car than a white one (if I had the money, I'd have my MR2 fully repainted a nice Porsche or BMW silver).

But yeah, red is my least favorite color for cars (another way to say I really hate red cars). I wish my CRX wasn't red.

If you have a Ferrari 360 or Enzo, red is fine. Otherwise, I think it's pretty trite.

Bwhahah Chrissy and I did s'more recruiting while at Blockbuster this evening.

His name is Jim and he owns a 1991 Miata red turbo. He bought it from a college kid. He says he has exhaust, "electronic goodies" a.k.a AFC, and JDM motor.
Very nice guy!

Anyways, we've done our job of recruiting people for the site. lol

she didnt' word that right... the car is miata red - as in, that the car is not it's stock paint, and that the car was repainted.

We have been forced to recruit Miatas since we cannot get MR2 people to participate in events..........:rolleyes:

You find me a bodyshop that is within 15 miles of my house in Boulder than will do what I want on my MR2 (fix the rear end, install Tom's rear bumper cover, full repaint, etc) for $5,000 or less, and I'll be ready to go. The estimates I'm getting are $6500 to $7,000 plus.

BTW the MR2 is fully functional and driveable (well, as functional as it's ever been :rolleyes: ), it just looks like ass and I can't park it outside because the trunk and the engine lid don't close.
