You see ... in computer geek speak, a 3 is read as the letter E.

Like in the word L33T This would be LEET short for ELITE.
Another you will see is OWN3D This means Owned, as in I OWN YOU... A hacker right of passage so to speak.

Using this in context will help, see the pic below. This young man is about to be OWN3D
