the 1st Annual Spring "Out of Hybernation" Meet

People from North of Castle Rock will be meeting up on the top level of the Park Meadows parking garage between 11:00am and 11:45am. We will be departing there for Castle Rock at 11:45am.

People from South of Castle Rock will be meeting up at the Wal-Mart near the corner of Academy and 83 at 11:00am

As a test, and a preview for next years official Annual MR2 meet, i've decided on doing this meet in reverse fasion...
we will meet at the outlets first... hang out, take pics, then dispurse for lunch...
There is a food court @ the outlets, and of course Red Robin up the hill....

They normally show off a bit when they show up, but most of them are pretty decent and keep it under control.

BTW, you don't have to have an AWD car or an MR2 to show up. were going to have rocky mountain ecotech (supercharged cobalts and ion red lines) show up to, and there are some other makes that show up too (some vw, nissans, audis, ect.)

New intercooler kit (sold the Border one)
New hotpipe and bov

Boost controller
Hopefully the gauge pod shows up soon (a-pillar, triple pod)
and some other stuff that I KNOW I am forgetting

I still want that mech-tech twin turbo kit (or one just like it), so I might be purchasing the cams and stroker parts soon. Good thing I still have the 5sfe crank!!! haha!!

People from North of Castle Rock will be meeting up on the top level of the Park Meadows parking garage between 11:00am and 11:45am. We will be departing there for Castle Rock at 11:45am.

People from South of Castle Rock will be meeting up at the Wal-Mart near the corner of Academy and 83 at 11:00am

Damn. I'm in San Diego right now. I want to see all those 2s! Saw a red 93 or so here today with a sunroof- red. Looked great. Made me feel cool since it looked a lot like my car and it looked, well, cool!

lastly though after replacing the hose that blew after the dyno tune and re pressurizing the system it was still overheating and starting to smoke a little so they took the head off and there was some obvious leakage around part of the HG... if you take a look at the pic i attached there are small thing rings around each of the cyls that i had never seen before (and as it turns out neither had they). i guess the material we used to fill that with ended up not sealing correctly... Anyone have any idea what those rings are there for and what to do with them? :P

and yup i met you at caste rock quite some time ago (although the mr2 wasn't running back then either... it's been since down about october of 2005...). once it's running happily i'll post the whole story..

Ive only seen simliar designs for two reasons. First is if the block has been sleeved. Which yours definitely appears not to be. The second, which is what it looks like and my guess would be somebody had big plans and wanted to o-ring the block for big boost. just a guess from that picture.

Went great, about 26 or so MR2's and a handfull of other make's...
You were better off at the AWD meet from the sounds of it anyway ;)

We still have the "HUGE" annual meet in august that you can attend... We'll pick up your lunch and Ill give you some gas money to come take Photos again ;)
