Was it packed?

When I left there were about 8 cars "in line"... with an average wait of about 10 minutes per car, but they are doing it untill 8:00pm... or "whenever their arms fall off"

there is hot dogs chips soda water & cookies, a great time for sure. Then again I know alot of people who were there.

I was there from 7:45am to 12:30pm... I was the second car to get dynoed.

They have a contest for highest HP and Lowest HP. When I left the highest was a 300zx with 410 whp and the lowest was 54 whp by a CRX.

Yeah he was there, and impressive indeed!

I just wonder how long that car will last... Seems like everytime a civic is boosted, it retires soon after... :ugh:

I don't know what that 300whp Civic has done to it, but if it has billet rods, forged pistons, ARP studs, enough fuel, and maybe some anti-detonation measures, like a lowered C/R, water injection, or a J&S (uh oh, what's Daniel going to say), I think 300 whp MIGHT be sorta safe . . . in a 10-30k mile sort of way.

"Tou - 00 S2000 - 243"

Any idea what the F/I was on that S2K Kyle? Comptech S/C?

I've been really liking the idea of a boosted S2K lately . . . although that car is way too hard to drive near the limit for a clown like me.

Im pretty certain it was Turboed, and not supercharged, I believe its the Black one from the video with the Loud exhaust. It was straight 2.5"-3" piping from the turbo back....

A friend of mine fidel (02 ep3 k20a3) puts down 315 whp in his civic. Stock internals, no water injection nada. Daily driven for quite some time now, and the guy beats the crap outta that thing. It's yet to pop.:yea:

A '99 Civic is likely to be a B-series or D-series, not a K20. So, with considerably less displacement, 300+ whp is more stressful.

Stock OEM B and D series Honda rods and pistons are not strong enough for big F/I over the longterm.
