Watch your mouth boy or we'll make you pick out your switch. :D The rain doesn't do much for me being able to wash the mister, but my lawn definitely needs all the moisture it can get. I fertilized right before this last downpour so I am quite happy right now.

I like rain, too... but when it rains EVERYDAY! Argh.
They don't even count like 85% of this stuff towards the drought anyways.

Not neccesarily, its just that we are all blessed to have such a well organized SCCA region that is there for the people, not just the cars.

I like the snow. It doesnt usually stay on the ground for long periods of time does it?

Not at all! We get warm westerly downslope winds the Indians used to call Chinook, meaning "snow eater".
It melts in a day or two, depending on how much.
I'm full of useless, random information, aren't I?

True. I remember in the early 90's, it seemed to rain on me EVERY afternoon right around 4 pm. I was usually out in the parking lot trying to install some car stereo equipment at this time (I was really into that stuff back then).
The only thing that kinda sucks about the rain is all the mosquitoes that come with it.

Ohhh man.. That sucked. I was eaten alive back then.
I haven't been bitten once this year *Knocks on wood* It's really scary now with all this West Nile going around.

I grew up on a lake water skiing. I remember one summer in the early 90s where we couldn't ski near the shoreline because the mosquitos would hit our skin in such huge swarms that it actually hurt and we would find bugs in places bugs shouldn't be.
LOL Good times!
